February 15, 2021 — San Francisco, Calif. — Goldwin’s first new drop of 2021 is here, and it’s the most outdoor-focused collection yet from the 60-year-old technical apparel brand. This new collection indicates a step in a new direction for the brand: gear for serious outdoor enthusiasts and passionate athletes that feels and performs like something premium, yet is more easily accessible to the masses.

The new Outdoor products feature advanced materials such as PERTEX Shield Air and GORE-TEX Paclite, as well as plenty of thoughtful design details made to elevate any experience in the outdoors. Highlights include the Element Jacket, GORE-TEX Spur Mountain Jacket and Mount Dwellers Jacket.

The Athletic products, developed for passionate athletes who need serious performance but also want simplicity, are the perfect example of Goldwin’s decades-long mastery of sportswear. Highlights include the Fast Shell Jacket, Compact Jacket, and Impact Air Cargo Half Tights.

The Lifestyle pieces take the best of Goldwin’s outdoor and athletic innovations and injects them into a new line of minimalist urban apparel, each with a distinct yet understated Japanese design philosophy meant to make a statement without being loud. Highlights include the Mac Coat, Stand Collar Jacket and One Tuck Tapered Stretch Twill Pants.

The new collection follows Goldwin’s partnership with Spiber in November 2020 to create the The Sweater, the world’s first garment knitted with Brewed Protein, a radical biopolymer grown using microbial fermentation.
